Consultation first
Before microneedling we check your skin, your history and what you want to change. It is not suitable during pregnancy, on active breakouts or over recently treated areas, and we will say so rather than book you in regardless.
What the session feels like
A numbing cream is applied first, so most clients feel light scratching rather than pain. Expect redness for the rest of the day, similar to mild sunburn, and keep the skin bare and simple for 24 hours.
How many sessions
Scarring and texture usually need three to six sessions spaced four to six weeks apart, with results building gradually. LED can be added to any facial for £20 when you want light therapy without needles.
