Swedish Massage
Developed in the 1700s by a Swedish doctor, the term covers a variety of techniques designed to relax muscles by working them against deeper muscles and bones, with softer strokes on delicate areas and stronger strokes where there is thicker muscle. It eases muscular strain by flushing out toxins, stimulates the nervous system, keeps ligaments and tendons supple, improves circulation and reduces emotional and physical stress.

Deep Tissue Massage
Works on the deeper layers of muscle tissue with slower, firmer strokes and deep finger pressure that follows the fibres of muscles and tendons. It refreshes and relaxes tired muscles, increases blood flow, helps clear toxins from sore and strained muscles and can break down scar tissue and knots.

Hot Stone Massage

Massage works best as a regular ritual. Tell your therapist about any tension, injuries or areas to avoid and we will adjust the pressure and focus of your treatment. Please arrive a few minutes early so you can settle before your massage begins.
